Mother Blessing Ceremony

A Mother Blessing Ceremony is a sacred pre-birth ceremony that celebrates a woman’s rite of passage into birth and motherhood.

The intent behind a Mother Blessing is to connect a circle of the mother’s closest women, and to honour her pregnancy journey. The day is filled with prayer and ritual. Preparing Mama spiritually, emotionally, and mentally for labor, birth and life with a newborn baby. 

These ceremonies are rooted in indigenous culture, a Blessingway, which is where a “Mother Blessing” began, is a sacred ritual of the ‘Dine’ Navajo people. When using the term “Blessingway” or “Mother Blessing” to describe this evolving ceremonial concept, let us remember to respectfully acknowledge & appreciate it’s sacred Dine heritage as our source of inspiration.

General Packages Include:

• set up: tapestry, mats and pillows. A centrepiece/alter.
• all ritual requirements. 
• sound healing instruments: crystal bowls, drums, chimes, shakers etc.
• invitation design
• 30 - 60 minute consultation or back and forth email support. Access to Aaria for support leading up to the ceremony.
• a group Facebook chat (or messaging app of your choosing) with women attending till baby/s is earthside.
• 25% off private breathwork, sound healing, meditation, and yoga sessions with Aaria leading up to birth and for 6 months post birth.
